Mi Casa in another collabo with Sauti Sol..

Visiting South African house band Mi Casa is set to hit the studio once again with the award-winning Kenyan Afro- pop group Sauti Sol. In an interview with the Word Is on Friday the La Vida hit- makers said that the new collabo will be part of its 'Mi Casa Unlock Africa' tour. "We have not done a lot of collaborations, but we are happy that one of the best collaborations we've ever did was with Sauti Sol," said the band's J'Something. "It was strange how we met Sauti Sol, but we loved the energy and the immense talent in them. "We bumped into each other in an elevator at an MTV Africa Music Awards afterparty and we instantly created a rapport. "We have done a collabo with Nigeria's Wiz Kid, Yemi Alade, Angola's C4 and we are going to do another one with Sauti Sol." The two groups first collaborated in the song Tulale Fofofo in 2015.

Sauti Sol. Mi Casa feels so attached to Nairobi than any other city outside their home country. They say: "Nairobi to us is like how Disney is for children. It's our best location ever. "Kenyans are so friendly. They always make us feel like we are at home. We are always looking forward at coming back to Kenya. "We are confident that we will soon come here not perform but to holiday. Kenya is a great country." Mi Casa feels that African music trends are on a tremendous change and "we are glad that in the international arena, African music is really picking." "For us, what keeps us together as a group is our respect for each other and that's how it should be," says Dr. Duda. The group performed on Friday night at the Alchemist Bar in Westlands. It had previously performed twice in Nairobi at the music festivals Blankets & Wine and Koroga Festival. For More Music Updates And News FIND US ON:
